Founder suggestions: one email for each step, linked to that suggestion

With owner mail on, a new interview or model-announcement suggestion now emails you once when it needs Prepare, once when its private cheatsheet is ready to review, and once when the reply is ready. Each email opens that exact suggestion on Founder posts.

New
  • A new suggestion emails you its exact source (or says it has none) with a link to that suggestion, where you check the cost and press Prepare. Nothing is generated from the email.
  • A finished cheatsheet emails you a review link. It says the cheatsheet is private: nothing is published until you approve it.
  • After you approve, the reply email has the public cheatsheet link and opens X's composer as a reply to the original post. You still press Reply yourself.
  • Each step is mailed at most once. Retries, restarts and later searches never send it again, and a step you already acted on, dismissed or rejected is never sent.
  • Founder posts now says when owner mail is on but has no usable recipient, or when Prepare has no usable house account, instead of failing quietly.

Import summaries name the real reason videos were skipped

When most videos in an import were skipped because they had no transcript, the Activity summary often said they were skipped for an "other" reason, or named the reason of a single different video. The summary now counts every skipped video's own reason.

Fixed
  • An import where videos were skipped for having no transcript now says "skipped (no transcript)" instead of "skipped (other)".
  • When skips have different reasons, the summary names the reason most of them share.

Founder suggestions: prepare, review, then publish a cheatsheet

An interview or model-announcement suggestion now has a Prepare cheatsheet button. You see the exact source, the cost and which house account pays before anything starts, review the finished cheatsheet privately, and only your approval publishes it on Keldura and fills in the reply.

New
  • Prepare cheatsheet shows the exact source, the quoted summary cost, the house account that pays and its credits, and how the link is read, before you confirm. Discovery never starts paid work on its own.
  • The finished cheatsheet stays private: open it to see the image, the summary and its exact source, then approve to publish its Keldura page or reject it. Rejecting publishes nothing, and you can prepare again later.
  • Only after you approve does the suggestion become reply-ready, with the cheatsheet's public link in the reply.
  • An interview's length now comes from the recording once it is read, and a recording under 15 minutes is stopped before any summary is paid for.

Ask this playlist shows questions as soon as they are ready

If you opened Ask this playlist before the first video finished indexing, the page waited until you pressed Check again. It now checks again on its own for the first few minutes and shows the questions when they are ready.

Fixed
  • While a playlist is still being imported, Ask this playlist checks for questions every 30 seconds for up to five minutes. Check again starts that over.

Import allowance notice counts only what you selected

Before an import, the notice about your remaining allowance compared it with every item left in the source, even when you had picked only a few. It now compares it with the items you selected that are not yet in your library.

Fixed
  • Selecting a few items from a large channel or playlist no longer shows an allowance warning when your allowance covers them.
  • When part of your selection is still loading, the notice says "up to" because the final count is not known yet.

Founder suggestions show the exact source and let you fix a missing one

Interview and model-announcement suggestions are now chosen by what the post is about, show the exact recording or announcement page with its publisher and duration evidence, and accept a pasted source when the post links none.

Improved
  • Interviews must be a long-form tech conversation. A post that uses the word for a hiring, scam or hacking story is no longer suggested, and a famous name alone is not enough.
  • Each interview or announcement shows its exact recording or official page, the publisher, the title when X provides it, and the duration with where it comes from, or says the duration is unknown.
  • When the post links no usable source, the suggestion says which links were refused and you can paste the YouTube recording or the lab's own announcement page. Nothing is generated until you approve preparing it.

Chat explains which plan adds YouTube links

Pasting a YouTube link into chat offered an Add to Library button even when your plan does not include Import, and the button did not keep the link. Chat now says which plan Import will be available on and links to the plans page instead.

Fixed
  • On a plan without Import, a YouTube link pasted into chat says which plan adding links to your library will be available on, with a See plans button, instead of an Add to Library button that could not import it.

See and delete your old website widgets on the Free plan

If your account moves to the Free plan, the Website widget page still lists the widgets you already made and lets you delete them.

Fixed
  • On the Free plan, the Website widget page lists your existing widgets with a delete button. Editing, copying or sharing a widget still needs the Starter plan or above.
  • Developer API plan checks now always reply with a JSON error object, including when the account cannot be found or the check fails.

Founder replies come with a cheatsheet of the exact source

Interview and model-announcement suggestions now get a Keldura cheatsheet of that exact recording or announcement, then open the original post's reply box with the link filled in.

New
  • Keldura reads that exact recording or announcement page on the house account's briefings and makes its cheatsheet. A Daily story on the same topic is never used instead.
  • While it works, the suggestion shows where it stands: queued, preparing, waiting for the YouTube quota reset, not enough credits, or source missing (for example, no captions).
  • Reply on X opens the original post only after that cheatsheet is ready. You press Reply on the X account you are logged into. Nothing is posted automatically.

Recordings are not sent twice after a brief disconnect

If the connection dropped while a recording was being processed, the page sent the recording again when it reconnected, so it was transcribed a second time. It now picks up the transcription that is already running and shows its progress and result.

Fixed
  • After a short connection drop, the recording page reconnects to the same transcription instead of starting a new one.
  • If the drop happened while the recording was still being sent, the page tells you the upload was interrupted so you can send it again.

Founder replies open in your X composer

Ready interview and model-announcement suggestions open the original post's reply box with a Keldura cheatsheet link filled in.

New
  • The Founder posts page can suggest a substantive AI interview or an official model announcement.
  • Reply on X opens the original post only after a cheatsheet of that recording or announcement exists. You press Reply on the X account you are logged into.
  • A Daily story on the same topic is not used as that cheatsheet. Until the recording or the official text is on file, the suggestion says so and does not draft a reply.
  • If the owner email cannot be delivered, the suggestion says owner mail failed and can be tried again.
  • Copy reply and Open original are there when the composer does not fill in. Nothing is posted automatically.

The website widget and the developer API start on Starter

The website chat widget, API keys, the developer API and MCP are now part of the Starter plan and above. They follow the plan on your account, not the beta, so the Free plan no longer includes them.

Improved
  • On the Free plan, the Website widget page and the API keys page say which plan includes them. Creating a widget or an API key needs the Starter plan or above.
  • A website widget whose owner is on the Free plan stops answering visitors, the same as a disabled widget.
  • Developer API requests and MCP tool calls from a Free account get a reply naming the plan that includes them. You can still list and deactivate existing API keys.
  • The pricing page, landing page and help pages now show the widget, the developer API and MCP on Starter and above.

Free plan cheatsheets follow your visits

On the Free plan, Briefings prepare automatic cheatsheets while you have used Keldura in the last 7 days. Come back after a longer break and they start again. Paid plans and cheatsheets you ask for by hand are unchanged.

  • Free plan: automatic cheatsheets are prepared while you have opened Keldura or your Briefings in the last 7 days.
  • A cheatsheet you ask for by hand is not affected.

Daily cheatsheets set their words and numbers straight from the story

Most new Keldura Daily cheatsheets now paint the picture first and set the headline, numbers and panels on top of it afterwards, taken word for word from the story.

  • Text on these cheatsheets is crisp, and each number on them is one the story states.
  • Cheatsheets already published stay as they are.

Legal pages show readable dates, and links on Pricing are underlined

The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use and Complaints pages now show their effective date as a written date, such as 1 November 2026. Links in the Pricing page text are underlined, and the Contact page has a clearer heading structure.

  • The five legal pages write their effective date out in full instead of as 2026-11-01.
  • Links in the Pricing page text are underlined, so you can find them without relying on colour.
  • On the Contact page, the page title is the main heading and the company details line up in one column.

Keldura keeps a record of your agreement to the Terms

When you create an account with email, Google or GitHub, Keldura now records the date and the version of the Terms of Service you agreed to. Accounts created before this change are asked to agree once, before their first purchase.

Improved
  • New accounts record when they agreed to the Terms of Service and which version applied.
  • On the Pricing page, an account with no recorded agreement sees an Agree and continue button before its first checkout.
  • The Privacy Policy lists this record.

Full transcripts download only for your own uploads

You can download transcripts of files you uploaded and notes you wrote. Transcripts of YouTube and Instagram videos, web pages and other outside sources now stay in Keldura, where you can still read them and chat with them.

Fixed
  • The TXT, SRT, PDF, Markdown and HTML download buttons appear only for your own uploads and notes.
  • A folder ZIP export leaves out transcripts of outside sources and lists them in a NOT-INCLUDED.txt file inside the ZIP.
  • The developer API and the MCP tools get_document and get_transcript_segment return the full text only for your own uploads and notes, plus summaries and cheatsheets. For other documents the text is null and the response says why.

Ask your new folder ends when you get your first answer

Ask your new folder now ends with your first chat answer, everywhere. The import tray updates as soon as the answer arrives in the same tab, and changing a chat's folders no longer brings the invitation back. A completion email sent after you have asked no longer offers it.

Fixed
  • If you delete your new folder and press Undo, Ask your new folder comes back without a reload.
  • Ask your new folder in the email and the tray opens the same folder as Home.
  • Starter questions for your new folder are written in your account language until your first answer.
  • A completion email for a clean import says when credits were refunded.

Ask your new folder no longer switches folders

If two imports run at once, Ask your new folder stays on the import it first showed. Home no longer switches folders when the other import finishes, and only one completion email offers Ask your new folder.

Fixed
  • An import of more than one channel or playlist no longer says “Imported the 50 newest of …”. The same video can be in two playlists, so the combined total could be too high.

A failed chat answer says the same thing after a reconnect

If chat can't answer and your connection drops before the error arrives, the chat now shows the same message once it reconnects, including "You weren't charged for this message" when the credit was returned.

Fixed
  • Before, a reconnected chat showed a generic error even when the credit for that message had been returned.
  • A response that broke off after sending only blank space is now treated as no answer, so its credit is returned too.
